School supply distribution begins July 21st

Catholic Charities of Coles, Douglas and Edgar Counties will once again bring their truck with school supplies for children to several local areas. New school supplies and backpacks will be available at no cost to students on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This will be the eighth year of this program. School-age children needing assistance are welcome. Proof of guardianship or a medical card will be required. The supplies will be given away from 4:30 pm – 6 pm at the following locations:
July 21 – Arcola District @ Arcola Grade School
If rain, pavilion in Moore Park in Arcola
July 27 – Chrisman District @ Chrisman Grade School
If rain, pavilion in park across from High School in Chrisman
July 28 – Paris @ Wentz School
If rain, Spicer Shelter in West Lake Park north of Paris
July 29 – Kansas/Oakland @Kansas High School
If rain, pavilion at City Park in Kansas
August 5 – Hume @ Shiloh School
If rain, pavilion in City Park in Hume
