Sister Anne Carlino, a dedicated humanitarian and longtime supporter of Catholic Charities, passed away in 2024 at the age of 88. Since 1957, Sr. Anne devoted her life to serving others locally and abroad as a member of the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis.
On Saturday, March 1, 2025, we marked our centennial with a celebratory banquet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. To show our gratitude to those whose dedicated efforts have sustained our mission of mercy for 100 years, we awarded several notable community members the Magnificat Award.

The WSOY Community Food Drive returned to the Decatur community on October 4th, 2024 and the local Catholic Charities office was an honored recipient of the community’s efforts to raise funds and food.
This worldwide organization of over 2.1 million Catholic men has been investing its time, effort, and resources to support organizations that honor the values of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism since 1882.
