St. Michael the Archangel Endowment

Together We Can Make A Difference!

In celebration of our 100-year anniversary of service (1925-2025) to our brothers and sisters in need, we have created the St. Michael the Archangel Endowment to help fund our Crisis Assistance program across the Springfield Diocese. Every day since the 1920’s and in ever-increasing numbers, Catholic Charities is contacted by people facing crisis situations who are in need of immediate assistance. They may be facing utilities termination, eviction, massive medical expenses, food insecurity, unemployment, disability, or some unexpected calamity that has put them on our doorstep for assistance.

This growing need has overwhelmed our limited resources. The sad reality is that every day at Catholic Charities we have to turn away families in desperate situations due to lack of funds in our Crisis Assistance program. A gift to the St. Michael endowment fund not only helps those in immediate need but also ensures that Catholic Charities can continue its mission for generations to come!
