Carlinville MFP Truck Blessing
When the engine failed on the pantry’s box truck in December of 2024, it impacted our ability to offer the mobile food pantry program to those in need in rural communities who rely on the MFP to make it paycheck to paycheck.
In Memory of Sister Anne Carlino
Sister Anne Carlino, a dedicated humanitarian and longtime supporter of Catholic Charities, passed away in 2024 at the age of 88. Since 1957, Sr. Anne devoted her life to serving others locally and abroad as a member of the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis.
Centennial Magnificat Honorees
On Saturday, March 1, 2025, we marked our centennial with a celebratory banquet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. To show our gratitude to those whose dedicated efforts have sustained our mission of mercy for 100 years, we awarded several notable community members the Magnificat Award.
